At No 19 is owned and run by Val Plummer.
“Having a science-based career, my more creative instincts and obsession for all things interior had to be contained to the re-modelling of my own homes and those of friends and family!

Happily this changed dramatically in 2004 with the purchase of a contemporary sea-front home ‘off plan’, and, along with it, the opportunity to specify and select every single aspect of its interior – the only limitation being, the weight-bearing walls had to stay! During this time, extensive process/product and design knowledge was amassed and my future career was set - training with the Institute of Interior Design and Home Staging Network followed.

As a result of this, I have worked with several property developers in Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex, designing/specifying interiors and creating show-homes.

I’ve helped those who’ve bought property ‘off plan’ to get the stylish, practical interior finishes they were seeking and advised private clients on everything from a new pair of curtains to totally re-modelling/refurbishing their homes or businesses.

Lately, my property home staging (house doctoring) services have been in great demand, giving me the opportunity to help homeowners achieve the best possible return on their investment - whether it be for sale, rental, or holiday home.

Whilst my ‘signature style’ is ‘classical contemporary’ - with its practical, simple, clean lines and clarity of design – I’m equally at home working on a cosy cottage or period mansion house apartment. And whilst my show-home work allows me to indulge in my passion for colour, working with quieter, more muted palettes is equally exciting."
