Having a science background, my more creative instincts and obsession for all things interior had to be “curtailed” to the re-modelling our own homes and those of friends and family. This changed dramatically in 2004, with the purchase ‘off plan’ of a contemporary sea front home and the opportunity to completely ‘shape’ its interior - the only constraint being, the weight bearing walls had to stay! Extensive process /product and design knowledge was amassed during this time and my future career was set.

Training with the Institute of Interior Design and Home Staging Network followed.

My ‘formal’ Interior Design career began in the new build sector, working with small / medium sized property developers, throughout Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex, designing / specifying interiors and creating show homes as well as helping those purchasing a property ‘off plan’ to get the stylish, practical interior finishes they were seeking.

Since that time a vast amount of experience has been gained in the private residential sector, whether primary, rental or holiday home; in addition to a diverse mix of commercial projects such as creating a stylish travel agency out of an old pet shop, adding a touch of art deco glamour to a local hotel and hauling the communal areas of a prestigious 1970’s block of apartments into the 21st century! I thrive on the challenge each project brings, irrespective of size.

In the current challenging climate for property sales, my Home Staging services have been much in demand with the opportunity to help homeowners achieve the best possible return on their investment, in the fastest time possible.

Whilst my ‘signature style’ is ‘classical contemporary’ with its practical, simple, clean lines and clarity of design, I am equally at home working on a cosy cottage or period mansion house apartment, staying true to their era or fusing styles to create an eclectic mix, whilst my passion for colour, whatever the palette, is played out on a daily basis.
